Your Virtual Guide

Powered by Compass

Our Virtual Guides make information about settlement and integration more accessible by breaking down various aspects of being a newcomer (e.g., first steps upon arrival, enrolling your children in school) into tasks that need to be accomplished (e.g., schedule medical exam, submit form X to department Y) as well as the steps and necessary information needed to accomplish these tasks.

Every todo list is optimized to the users circumstances and eligbility and includes information on where to go, what to bring, and what to expect.

Guides can be deployed as an AI-powered chatbot via SMS, FB messenger, or embedded in an existing mobile or web application.

Insights, Analytics

Identify trends, predict bottlenecks, and measure impact of services and programs with customer and citizen journeys.

Our mission is to help people help themselves through collective and artificial intelligence.

In many ways we stumbled on our work by chance. Little did I know that not long after I moved from Somerville to Montréal to teach and do research I would have four relatives from Eritrea seeking asylum in Canada.

And it was while volunteering at a local shelter that my relatives were sent to when they first arrived, that we saw first hand how much effort and coordination resettlement requires.

We started Edel Technologies to support social service providers and help them leverage, data, analytics, apps, and artificial intelligence to improve their service delivery capacity and effectiveness.

But what’s most important to us, is that our solutions restore the dignity that many loose waiting for help by giving them the information and resources they need to help themselves.
